Biography

Enrique Tomas Delgado was born on September 15, 1933 in New York City. In 1946, he moved to Puerto Rico with his parents. After graduating high school he enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico (Rio Piedras) where he studied political science. When awarded a scholarship to attend acting school by the Government of Puerto Rico, Darrow moved to Los Angeles where he enrolled at the Pasadena Playhouse, met his first wife with whom he had two children, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in theater arts. He had already landed small parts in 12 movies and 75 television series when he was cast in the television western series The High Chaparral. Henry played Manolito Montoya on the series, which lasted from 1967 to 1971 and was shown/is shown all over the world. He went on to appear in hundreds of soap operas, miniseires, sitcoms, dramas, and stage plays. Currently, semi-retired, he lives in North Carolina with his wife Lauren.
